Given the lack of supply in the West End it nicely shows how the shortage has caused ripply effects across Central London. In comparison Shoreditch average rents are currently at £25.00 per sq ft - £35.00 per sq ft. Grade A offices in Shoreditch are currently showing levels in 2014 starting at £45.00+ per sq ft. 

Beyond the obvious issue which is there is simple not enough available offices the easements in planning allowing for more residential buildings to be built or converted are having clear strains on the market. The question is will the market cope. It is important to remember once a building has been converted into residential use it cannot be converted back to offices because of the shortage in residential supply in the general market.
